- ICS-300 Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents:
This 3-day course is designed to enable personnel to operate efficiently during an incident or event within the Incident Command System (ICS). This course provides training on resources for
personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS).
This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses.
Course Objectives
- Describe how the National Incident Management System Command and Management component supports the management of expanding incidents.
- Describe the Incident/Event Management process for supervisors and expanding incidents as prescribed by the ICS.
- Implement the Incident Management process on a simulated Type 3 incident.
- Develop an Incident Action Plan for a simulated incident.
Length: Three days, 24 hours. A student must attend all days to receive credit for the ICS 300 course.
Required Prerequisites:
The following courses are mandatory prerequisites to this course and must be included with your application. You will NOT be registered without proper required documents.
• ICS 100 (Introduction to ICS) most current version
• ICS 200 (Basic ICS) (Classroom Version)
• ICS 700 (Intro to NIMS) most current version
• ICS 800 (National Framework, an Intro) most current version
